Hi, I'm Paulina. I am a self-taught portrait artist based in Wokingham, UK, with a passion for capturing the character and emotion that make every person and animal unique.Every face tells a story, every animal has its own presence, and those qualities are what truly inspire me. Working primarily in expressive drawing, I love allowing my artworks to evolve naturally, building layers of line and texture until the subject begins to emerge with its own life and energy.Alongside commissioned portraits, I create original artwork inspired by musicians and iconic personalities whose stories and energy fascinate me. Music has always been a huge part of my life and often finds its way into my work, influencing the rhythm and movement of every line.The most rewarding moments are when I unveil a finished portrait. I've had clients cry as they recognise a loved one or a treasured pet, telling me I've captured their character in a way they never expected. Others tell me they simply can't stop looking at the drawing. Those reactions remind me why I do what I do.
